I realize it can be difficult to have something to submit in both of the monthly contests, and without a lot of submissions, those catagories are kinda underused. So rather than a "bragging rights" contest, how about a more simple "favorites" catagory? Post what ever signal or train photo (one catagory for each like now) you happen to particularly like, whenever you like.

They don't even have to be your pictures. Salute or draw attention to the pictures of someone else if you've a mind to.

There's a lot of pictures on this site, and this may be a way to show off some stuff that maybe others haven't found yet...

I voted no... I actually like the monthly contests, as long as people actually post. Just be careful with the specials, because depending on what the special is, it can knock people out of the contest immediately.

It's not like this vote is binding or something like that. The POTM seem to be under utilized, and I'm just floating an idea.

I understand that completely... I would be cool with it changing if that's what everyone else votes for.

I was just giving my worth.

Whatever you guys want to do I am up for changes if people agree.
