Late-sounding bell

This is the Main St. crossing in Fostoria, OH, which has 4 tracks.

I've been to that crossing a couple of times this year. Was just there in September. It's because the bell is wired through a contact in the gate mechanism that opens when the gate is up, but closes when the gate is at about 85 degrees. They just used the wrong contact. Every other crossing in Fostoria has the bells shut off once the gates are down, and don't ring again until the next activation.

I'm guessing these bells are wired through the contact on the cam that is for the lights, the bells start at about the right place.
