Interesting light mounts on a traffic light...

Not to mention the traffic light turns into a lamppost mount at the top...

That is done very commonly here although usually it is just one long pole with the mounting hardware for a signal mast on it. See

Personally I think an extra crossbuck near this set of lights would be a good idea as well.

Interesting. A crossbuck would help that look a little more normal... however it would still be a bit higher off the ground than where you would expect it to be.
Still though... I like that idea betther than having a railroad cantilver with a traffic signal cantilever mounted directly in front of it. Case and point:

The right side mast light is completely blocked by the traffic signal... also, if you are driving a high profile vehicle (such as a school bus), the outside lights on the railroad cantilever are blocked by the traffic signal as well. Poor planning in my opinion!
