I have some responses to that:

All three of the above logos can be applied as the actual boot screen for Windows Vista using Vista Visual Master:

Also, for all Vista users:
In the start menu, go to all programs > accessories > run.
In the Run box, type 'msconfig.exe', and run it. You may be prompted by the UAC.
In the box that appears, click to the boot tab.
Find, and check, the box that says 'No GUI Boot.'
Then, exit by clicking okay.
The next time you turn the machine on, you will notice something different.
Lastly, a boot screen I made myself, and applied with Vista Visual Master:
