Mike's Railroad Crossing Forum

As requested in the "Tracks Out of Service" topic, last Saturday I got some shots of this odd crossing in the tiny crossroads town of Woodland, near Iron Ridge. Due to the shallow angle of the tracks crossing the road, the road coming over a hill just to the north of the crossing, and the tracks coming out of a deep cut in the same direction, both cantilevers are installed on the wrong side of the road with no mast lights.

The lights have been upgraded to 12" x 24" Harmon frames with L.E.D.s, and the bell changed to a General Signals electronic since the Street View pictures were taken.

Thanks for getting the pictures of that crossing. I always enjoy seeing something different.
