New member here - Great forum!
After a 5 year search for a mechanism for my crossing I aquired a WCH 3590 mechansim yesterday. The man I got it from said it was working when he was contracted to take down a crossing 9 years ago and has been in he shed ever since. The outside has peeling paint but the inside looks very clean. It had the wiring diagram paperwork inside with the word "Change Request 11/19/76" penciled in.

My question is I have seen videos of home crossings with external cabinets full of relays. Does anyone know if these relays will be required for me to get this working correctly.
