No, it's not. Global warming doesn't mean the end of winter, and it's not even the right term. Global climate change is actually what is occurring.

Bingo.
That the planet is getting warmer is undeniable. That the planet has been much warmer at times in the last 800 or so years (determined from tree rings, artic core samples, etc) is also undeniable. Those previous times were long before the mass utilization of carbon fuels that we have today. There are numerous enviromental issues that confront us, but it's hard to buy the "greenhouse gas" issue just yet.
