Cheap cantilever

I was doing some YouTube surfing and came across this video. Notice the first crossing you see in the video. As the camera pans back for the train you will see it for a second or so...

Below is what the signal looks like on Streetview. Notice the mis-matched lights and both the "cantilever" and on the opposite mast signal. Somebody doesn't really give a hoot it appears on this line.

Pretty nice video actually. Surprised how fast the trains move through there considering those are gateless crossings.

I'm really surprised that thing hasn't been whacked by a truck and knocked down. But perhaps that is why there is a mismatch on the lights? Maybe they have had to make repairs?

I know that location. A YouTube friend of mine films there often. As for the lights, they were recently upgraded to 12"x20" RSI LED lights (as was the crossing next to it). Also, the bell is a WRRS bell and it's missing its "shield". Here's a pic of what the crossing looks like now, and here's more vids of that crossing:

That looks bad with the 12"x24".

Nice nevertheless. Always had an interest in odd railroad crossings.

Cheers,
