Just a split crossbuck. Used to be the standard of how to mount a crossbuck on many many railroads. There are still a few of them on the Kankakee, Beaverville, and Southern Railroad out by me on what crossings are signaled.
Cheers,
Joshua

It's Crazy how lazy or stupid signal maintainers can be.
Had to replace two gates the other day someone installed wrong, and to top it off the gates were not counter weighted right either, probably added five more years to those ol' gate Mechs

Are there any "one piece" crossbucks in use out there anywhere? Those appear to be standard-ish crossbucks, they just mounted them around the pole, as opposed to both panels on the same side of the pole.
Dumbass maintainer there, with the upside down gates. Also gate lights are ridiculous too....

Yes in fact there is:
http://www.rxrsignals.net/Texas/A-F/Car ... aili/1.jpg. UGLY! Obviously those are only temporary, but I wonder if something like that is in use permanently somewhere?
Maybe they should consider making a one piece crossbuck (better than the one's above) so
this won't happen. Was the dude drunk???
