Stability Control

I know we've talked about this briefly before...but I was wondering if you had this feature on your car or not.
I don't have it on my 2005 Sable, but on our 2009 Mercury Mariner...we do. I'll be sure my next car has it...that's for sure. The last winter storm we had...I took the Mariner and did some extensive testing of the system in a big parking lot that was snowy and icy. I tried it with the system off...and on. I'll tell you, it is probably the best feature they have added to new cars since seatbelts. With the system on, you couldn't loose control if you wanted to. I did some emergency swerving manuevers....and it did very well to keep me going on my intended path. There's no way any driver...even the best in the world...could do what this system does in an emergency situation. All new cars made 2012 and beyond will be required to have this feature...and I can't agree more, especially with all these stupid drivers on the roadways...
