Well, Im a little confused. I looked up Safetran Systems on google and it wasnt there. It showed a company called Invensys Rail. Did Safetran change it's name? Is Safetran a part of Invensys Now? someone please tell me whats happening. There was a Crossing update in a suburb of Cleveland called Olmsted Falls and an update hapened on Columbia Road and the gate mechanisms say Invensys now. I dont even think you could call the Safetran type 3 a Safetran type 3. We should now call it the Invensys Rail Bell. I think we should what do you think? AND please tell me what happened to Safetran!!!!

ALSO, I went on the 102 page on the RR Crossing website to look at Safetran bells and i looked at the Safetran type 2 brouchure and it took me to Invensys Rail.

I'm not sure how accurate it is, but according to Wikipedia's article on Safetran, it says:
Safetran is currently part of Invensys Rail Systems.
Then again, Wikipedia is not the most reliable website for information, but here is a link to the article anyways:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safetran
EDIT: I also took a look on their website at what companies are owned by Invensys Rail Systems and it lists Safetran as one of the three.

It's been a little while, but we had talked about this one before on several occasions:

Does anyone know if they're still making railroad crossing signal equipment after Siemens bought out Invensys? Sorry for getting off-topic.

I think from what I have heard, they don't anymore. This sucks because safetran was my favorite signal maker.

North American gate mech with a British fence gate looks weird.
