chattering WRRS problem

Post by aspengf8 »

i'd need some help to get this WRRS to work right. I had it working right and haven't touched it since I put it up for sale about a week ago now it's chattering again, i've dealt with this problem on another WRRS with success a few years back (forgot what I did to solve the problem). the contact is set right and nothing seems to be shorted or miswired. here is a video of how it's acting up http://youtu.be/-gginAcGLNo any help is appreciated

Might I ask you, did you pull that bell out of a lake?
Looks like the contract is burnt up, try taking a number 2 pencil eraser and clean it, also try to readjust the contact.

I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

the bell didn't come out of a lake, at least I hope not but it looks far worse through the lens of my video camera for a better view: http://www.rxrsignals.net/Phpbb3/viewto ... =25&t=2403 I found the problem and the bell works like new, it was two things, mostly the latter. I forgot to oil it and there was a wire that was too stiff preventing the mechanism from going back up :LOL3: I have to clean up a few more wires and it should be ready for it's next owner. a video of it working right: http://youtu.be/MwwbKbqyDis
