I've seen similar gateless setups to those on busy highways in Wisconsin. I would assume if it's a lower speed line, and lightly used that those are sufficient to maintain safety and awareness at the crossing.
Bueller?
Bueller?

Well youre right,it is a lower speed line. But the thing is that it is decommisioned. No trains run through there anymore. So that is why I dont understand why they keep it there in the first place.

They should keep them there until the line is for sure out of service, then use the parts for crossings with lots of accidents,

You have a point.Anyways,This line connects to a really highly active Union Pacific line.So there could be a chance a train could pass by this crossing soon.

Here is one on Grand Ave. in Phoenix, one of the busiest roads in town. The line is a spur and I've only seen cars railcars on it about 4 times in the past 5 years.

Here is a picture of it in action:

Just a BNSF spur that leads to a local industry that went went out of business or moved. A new business just popped up in the same location so hopefully the track will get used again.

There's a similar road in Chickasaw called Jackintoport Blvd that has 4 cantilevers without gates. Problem is the road just goes to a industrial complex and either the trains run at night (NS) or runs twice a week (AGR).

Do you know what types of lights and bells are on those signals?
