Mike's Railroad Crossing Forum

This signal is in Fostoria Ohio, (a place where I railfan sometime and a popular railfanning spot ) and there is this strange signal there. Here are some of the pictures I took of it.

They did that because of the utility pole that would block the lights in they were in their normal placement.

They also should have done the same thing with the crossbuck and the 4 tracks sign

In my opinion... they should have just used the mast shown for the gate and rear facing lights. There should be a separate mast (or cantilever ) on the other side of the pole.
