That holder should probably be fixed or the gate might lean too far:

Actually, my avatar is from Evers Street in Plant City. I saw you had a traced path on the original link a few hours ago of the area. Are you currently down here at the moment? If so out of curiosity will you be going through Plant City as well?

Them stupid wind brackets are worthless, long gates bend in the wind and end up getting caught on the things keeping the XGP open in the gate mechs causing the lights to keep flashing and then get a maintainer called out. Or the gate just knocks them out of the way.
The wind brackets won't stop a gate from snapping in half either.
The best ones out there are NEG big mouth ones, guide the gate up in the wind really nicely.

Actually, that's pretty normal. Wind guards will do that if not secured correctly.

But what if the gate falls towards the road?

Well then call out the signal maintainer to come fix it,
Also break away adapters are built to avoid the gate randomly falling off onto the road, they rotate and will fall perpendicular to the gate mech.

Where's the fun in that? People need a good scare once in a while, and the railroads a good lawsuit once a minute.
