Here's the google links below. One thing I don't understand is why they keep those signals there.I saw that if you go EB on those tracks, they end at a Railroad Museum, and if you go WB they end at a local CSX yard.

I saw a video on YouTube talking about that crossing. I wonder if the museum might have purchased the trackage from the railroad that owned it previously... In which case, I can see them letting it go into disrepair until they actually have a need for it.

What type of cantilevers are those?

Not completely sure what type they are, but I have seen a couple similar to those in Richardson, Texas for traffic signal installs.

WRRS Rotatable cantilevers.

Did anyone notice in the satellite view there is a mast signal on the other side where just the one cantilever is?

Looks like a truck (or something) whacked it recently.

I decided to go down the line and take a look at a few crossings.
There really isn't anything special about the first one:
https://www.google.com/maps?q=Effingham ... 76,,0,3.04

The second one is just like the first one except it's missing two visors, a background, and it has a WCH E-bell:
https://www.google.com/maps?q=Effingham ... 37,,0,5.85

This one has 12 inch lights and an E-bell:
https://www.google.com/maps?q=Effingham ... 82,,0,8.36

Going in the other direction, I found a crossing where it's signals were removed:
https://www.google.com/maps?q=Effingham ... 5,,0,12.05
However, I found the bases for a signal and a gate on a separate mast:
https://www.google.com/maps?q=Effingham ... 3,,2,16.92
The emergency information sign is mounted on a near-by utility pole:
https://www.google.com/maps?q=Effingham ... 5,,3,11.47

This crossing no longer has signals, but it still has the advance warning signs:
https://www.google.com/maps?q=Effingham ... 94,,0,7.37

And that's the rest of the abandoned line.

...and the track leads right to a fenced-off steam train on display! You don't see that too often!

Actually the line is not abandoned, it just sees very rare service.
