Not exactly sure on what you mean there... :Unsure:

But I will say that every now and then I do see the occasional old-style cantilever with modern equipment on it. It's happened more frequently down here with CSX, where they'll upgrade a whole crossing and leave the old cantilever behind as long as it isn't too rusty (which is minimal on most crossings down here) and just give it new crossbucks, signs, and lights.
