So... in 10 days I will no longer be calling Springfield my home. I am relocating to St. Petersburg FL for a new job. This is a video of the NS tracks here in town. This was taken from the 6th floor cafeteria of the building I have worked in for nearly 22 years. A total of 7 crossings can be seen from this view. I am going to miss this. Have seen many trains pass through here on my lunch hours...

That's really neat that you got to see trains from right outside your workplace. It's sad as well that St. Petersburg doesn't have any active lines at all, either.
However, if you ever do have a day to go to the Tampa/Hillsborough side, do let me know or if you need help in Hillsborough, I can try my best to help get you around

Thanks Zach. Once we get settled in... and I finish my training, I will let you know. My first month I have training in Wesley Chapel... so I'm dreading that commute. I've heard traffic going into Tampa from St Pete is dreadful in the morning and vice versa in the evening.

Traffic will be bad at all times along Interstate 275 through Tampa between Exits 39 (SR-60) and 45 (Interstate 4) due to an ongoing widening project that's supposed to be complete in the fall of 2016, and usually whenever southbound I-275 backs up through downtown Tampa, so does westbound I-4 approaching the I-275 interchange (known to locals as "Malfunction Junction"). However St. Petersburg to Wesley Chapel is quite the commute there. It's literally almost an hour to get there even in the best of traffic
That sounds horrible though that your training just can't take place in town at St. Petersburg, considering the commute to get to and from Wesley Chapel and there.
