New WCH light design

It appears that WCH has updated the design for their lightheads again. This time, they have the back end chopped off with the WCH logo on the flat part. Note: the photo is not mine.
They probably did this because they no longer have to manufacture incandescent parts.

That should be the 6th variation of their 12" lightheaded.

Nah, it's only the 4th variation from what I can tell.

This is what I have been able to tell:
1.FS/WCH
2.Same design, with WCH logo
3.slightly different casting
4/5. Total redesign

They are "Lightheads" not "frames" and WCH had to do something, the previous design was so cheap they literally broke apart in your hands

I think that there is only 5 then. I don't know of any different designs between the style that was from FS and the style that's on a pair of crossings here in Huntsville. I could be wrong with that though.

Close enough. I've fixed the post, though.
I want to say I've heard people use "light frames" to describe the lightheads though.

Try to order a "light frame" from any signal manufacturer and let us know what you come up with
