Once upon a time in Van Dyne, Wisconsin...

...there existed a crossing with an MSCo Magnetic Flagman wigwag on one side, and a WRRS "Harpes" wigwag on the other. The reason for this was that two mainline tracks passed through the crossing, one owned by the Soo Line (MSCo) and the other by the Chicago and North Western (WRRS). By the early 1990s the lines had been taken over by regional railroads Wisconsin Central and Fox River Valley Railroad, respectively, but the wigwags were still there. However they are long gone by now, although both tracks remain in service with the Canadian National Railway (FRVR was merged into WC, which was then purchased by CN in 2001).
