Interesting crossing

I wonder why the lights are mounted so high on the crossing at 1:25 in the video. If I had to take a guess, I'd say that it's for visibility reasons.

Other than the trees on the left, and the close proximity to the intersection across the tracks, visibility does not seem to be too big of an issue. A bit odd...

I could have sworn this was somewhere on the forum already, but I mean back by 5 or 6 years
