The bells would sound better if they were in sync. Good video

I bet it's kind of hard to get them in sync in the first place. Though NS doesn't really care about how they sound together. If at least one of them works, they generally won't mess with it.

As of 5-31-18, this crossing has been upgraded to LED:
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 1.5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 Safetran 12x20 inch light with a Leotek EV Series LED, a dying Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Got a comment earlier today from McCormick Rail-fanning Productions asking me if I had heard about Vine Street, so after asking him what happened I decided to head out and see what had changed. Turns out that this crossing got an LED upgrade! However, oddly enough, it almost appears that CSX did the upgrade (or at least provided the LEDs for the upgrade) as NS doesn't typically use WCH or Leotek LEDs. Nothing else at the crossing has changed, except for the fact that the Safetran mechanical bell here sounds like it's starting to die, as it was completely quiet at a few points when the gates started to lower.
