The things you find in Alabama...

Y'all remember how near the end of March, I chased the Alabama & Tennessee River Railway up their line? Well, one of the strangest things I found while I was on that chase was this crossbuck with red letters on Sand Mountain Drive in Albertville, AL:

IIRC, these were typically used with buckeye set-ups up in Ohio, so how one of them made it down to a former CSX line here in Alabama is anyone's guess. All I know is that this pole appears to have never sported a buckeye on it, as it would've obscured the DOT tag had it had one.
FYI, there are two crossings on Sand Mountain Drive, this one with crossbucks, and another with signals (along with one of four known WCH e-bells here in Alabama).
