Atlanta Avenue, Sheffield, AL
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran Type-3 e-bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a mostly-dead Safetran Type-3 e-bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Gateless signal on the right: 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights.
The reason I say that the one bell is mostly dead, is that it seems that it'll sometimes ring, but when it does, it starts up late like you can see in this video:

Also, the lights on the two gated signals are out of sync for some reason.
They/Them for me, please.

Re: Atlanta Avenue, Sheffield, AL
*originally recorded on 6-14-21*
Southbound signal: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Middle signal: 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights.
Northbound signal: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
1st video:
After catching NS 16Z, I made my way up to this crossing to document another new bell here, and found a nearby local (sounded like NS AH01, over the scanner?) that had just finished working an industry. I got some photos of the crossing and was heading back over to see when they'd be heading east, but it turned-out they were already doing so, so I quickly spun back around and was just barely able to beat them to this crossing. Wasn't able to get set-up quite in time, but I do think this video came out decently enough. Here we see this local freight come through with an RP-E4C/GP40-2 slugset for power.
2nd video:
After catching NS A83 out in Cherokee, I waited for it to leave and then chased it over to this crossing, since the ambient lighting here was pretty decent on the north side of the crossing and I wanted to try to get at least a slightly better video of this crossing on this day. As you can see, no major changes occurred between my two videos of it on this day, unsurprisingly.
As you can see, since I last recorded this crossing all the way back in 2016, NS has finally replaced the dead Safetran Type 3 e-bell here with a General Signals Type 3. No other changes appear to have occurred here though, thankfully. Unfortunately, due to my rush to set-up, I didn't quite get the best angle here, so the signal in the middle's kinda obscured. Although I did get a somewhat better video of this crossing in the evening, I may see about rolling back out here at some point and getting a better video from the side here.
