This is the Clifton School Parade crossing in Clifton, New South Wales. It is located on the line between Sydney and Wollongong and has nice views overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the few crossings on the Sydney Trains network that does not have gates (I only know of 2 others). These signals were installed in June 2005 and replaced the original McKenzie & Holland signals that dated back to the 1960's.
The crossing still has the inverted "Stop on Red Signal" signs, which are slowly disappearing over here. All four signals have a pair of Alstom 8 inch LED lights and WCH bases. There is one WCH mechanical bell which sounds a bit different and seems more quiet than most WCH bells, I am thinking it is probably a soft tone bell. I wanted to use my new tripod but due to the steep terrain it was a bit awkward so all the filming was done by hand.
I found some active shots of the crossing on GSV
