I have returned!

Hi all!
It's been quite a while since I was last here (May 2014 was my last post, according to my profile). This is one of the hobbies that comes and goes for me. Well, recently (like last weekend), my interest has spiked again! Lots of things have changed since I was last here, the biggest being I no longer live in my parents' house. I moved out and got an apartment in Clifton Park, NY in February of 2015, however after some plans fell through, as of this past December, I am back in good ol' Mechanicville and am now a homeowner! I've purchased a townhouse unit on the northwestern side of the city, which I personally am fond of because it's the traffic light side of the city, and traffic lights are another hobby of mine! My dad and I have spent months working vigorously to get my townhouse into shape (it's was a fixer-upper), and while most of the major stuff is done (it still needs a new roof), there's always stuff I'm improving on!
Anyway, as I mentioned, my interest in crossing signals has spiked again. This past weekend I attended a local traffic signal meet. They knew we had some classic traffic signals here in town so we went up here to see them. Well aside from the traffic signals, they also have some railroad interest, so I brought them down to the tracks to see the crossing signals and the old train station and XO tower here in town and told them about how things used to be, and some of the insight the city has for the future. Anyway, that got me to looking at the old photos I took on the website and while there, I noticed that the Park Ave page seemed pretty below par for website standards and since the crossing had taken on a minor face, for the past couple of days I've been taking new pictures to submit to the site. Hopefully in the future I'll have more time to take pics of other crossings in the area.
So i just wanted to say that yes, I am still around and am looking to get back into the swing of things. Hope to hear from some of you soon!
