Signal on the left; 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
This crossing is almost on the edge of Trinity, AL.
Here are the new signals in action, from the other side of the crossing:
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type-3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right; 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type-3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
I believe I've gotten all of the crossing upgrades on the NS Memphis District East End recorded now, at least of the crossings I recorded previously. Also, like the crossing in Bella Mina, NS re-used the gates, gate lights, and the relay case here.

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a dead Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
This was the second and final crossing I chased NS 101 to, as I figured the lighting and the angle of the tracks here would make for a great shot for the UP SD70M leading it. After this, I went back over to 12th Avenue in Decatur to see about shooting that crossing, but, unfortunately, it seems like the curfew on the Chattanooga Sub had just started so NS wasn't running literally anything else for the rest of the day, and I eventually went on home.
Since I was last here, NS has replaced the gate lights here with a full set of RECO LED ones. The closer signal's bell has also died, though I wouldn't be too surprised if it winds-up remaining there for a good while. At least the far signal's bell still works. Otherwise, no noticable changes appear to have occurred here since these signals were installed in 2016.
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
After I caught 287 again at Holmes Avenue #1, I continued on west, and found-out 283 was just finishing-up work at Madison. As such, I decided to chase it west to this crossing in Trinity, as I hadn't filmed it in a while, and thankfully beat it here with a good few minutes to spare. Here we see my fifth train of the day: NS 283 with an ET44AC leading an ES44AC for power, definitely far from the most interesting lash-up out there.
It seems that, sometime after my last video here back in 2023, the Safetran Type 3 e-bell on the far signal must've also died. As such, both bells here were replaced by the current pair of GS Type 3 e-bells, which I certainly wasn't expecting to find here on this day. Nothing else has changed to this crossing, however, and it's nice to see that it's still incandescent at least.
