Check out how this gate bent over the top of the cantilever... an almost perfect 90 degree angle on the left side. I'm guessing the "wind guard" may have played a roll in it?

I don't know the exact location of this crossing... the photo is from a Jacksonville TV station website. So, northeast FL is about all I can tell you.

That gate would have been long gone if it was fiberglass, I'm sure.

That, or if it was an older wooden wishbone gate. Hey, I found a broken one in Melbourne! (NOTE: It's actually a hinged gate. It's like that so it can clear overhead wires)
