Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type-3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type-3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

This is the last crossing on the NS Memphis District East End when you're heading west towards the Sheffield Yard. Just west of here is the eastern entrance to the Sheffield Yard.

*originally recorded on 5-15-25*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, RECO gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, RECO gate lights, and a RECO LED gate light.

After catching 362, @vtgrxrman and I hopped back over to Gnat Pond Road to wait for something else to come through. After a while of waiting, we were able to get our fifth train of the day: NS 733 with a BNSF SD70ACe leading an NS AC44C6M on the head-end and an MRL SD70ACe and a BNSF ES44AC working as the train's DPUs! Definitely nice to see another MRL ACe on one of the coal trains, it's just a shame they're almost all "thundercabs" so their chances of leading are practically none...

Amazingly, it appears that literally the only changes to this crossing since I last recorded it all the way back in 2016 was that NS replaced the middle gate light on both signals' gate arms with RECO LED gate lights. Otherwise, nothing else appears to have changed to this crossing since I last shot it nearly 9 years ago.
