Ovada is an important Italian town of 11,484 inhabitants of the province of Alessandria (Piemonte, Italy), located in the Alto Monferrato. It has a railway station (line Ovada-Acqui Terme-Genoa), the southern stretch of historic Asti and Alessandria-Genoa line-Ovada line.
