Montegrosso d'Asti is a town of 2,350 inhabitants in the province of Asti (Piemonte, Italy).
Recent studies have demonstrated the presence of human settlements in the area already 200,000 years ago.
In age 1134 there was a terrible epidemic of plague that struck the area and the survivors, to escape the contagion, settled on the hill where the town is located today.
The Montegrosso Station is a train station of Asti-Genoa line.
In this video we have filmed with our dashcam the level crossing in both directions
