I only have one crossing left to record in Lawrence County, AL now!
No major changes here as of 12-8-21, other than the gate arm on the far side being replaced since I last recorded this crossing:

After I caught I026 in Thach, I continued on my way to the Shoals. However, as I was approaching Wheeler, I saw an eastbound approaching on the NS Memphis District East End, so I quickly turned around and raced back over to this crossing. After a few short minutes, I was able to get my second train of the day: NS 204 with a UP SD70ACe leading an NS ES44DC for power.
Since I was last here, NS replaced the gate lights on the closer signal with a set of RECO LEDs. Otherwise, this crossing has remained entirely unchanged since I last filmed it a few years ago, and this time around I was able to film it on the north side thanks to the lighting.
