Signal on the left: 2 pairs of US&S 12x20 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a US&S mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of US&S 12x20 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a dead WABCO mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Went out railfanning along the CSX W&A Sub in Calhoun, GA today. While I thought this would've been my first train, it turned out it wasn't, and the southbound that I guessed was coming wouldn't arrive until 1.5 hours later.
My main reason for getting this crossing was the fact that when looking at this crossing on Google Street View (which still has very old images at it), I thought I spotted a WABCO bell on one of the signals, so I came over here to check it out. To my surprise, not only was there a WABCO bell, but the other signal has a US&S mechanical bell, my first time seeing one of those! Sadly though, the WABCO bell was dead (which I'm not too surprised at, in all honesty), but at least the US&S bell worked, even if it's just a Modern Industries bell with a new logo on the back!
If I had to take a guess for why this strange malfunction occurred, the relay case probably briefly got overheated before the exhaust fan on it started up.
