This station is located along the Alessandria-San Giuseppe di Cairo line, serving the municipalities of Montechiaro d'Acqui and Denice.
Up to about half a century ago it was connected to a brick furnace, no longer active, by a small, narrow gauge connection.
One time there were two rafters dedicated to the goods.
