We all have laws but sometimes there can be strange laws.

In my country, it is illegal in London to carry a plank in a street.
In Alabama, it is illegal to wear a fake mustache in church with the intention to cause laughter.
In Ohio, it is illegal to get a fish drunk.
In Florida, if you were to tie an elephant to a parking meter you would have to pay the usual fee like for a vehicle.

Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. "State" is a more proper term for nation.

England, Scotland, Wales, and sometimes Northern Ireland are usually referred to as countries or nations. In a way the United Kingdom is culturally a country of countries.

Here in Ohio I think it's illegal to give a fish alcohol!

There's a lot of dumb ones up here in Washington State. Here's some of my favorites:

*You can be imprisoned or fined for harassing Bigfoot or Sasquatch.

*You can't buy mattresses on Sundays.

*Pretending that your parents are rich is illegal. (Watch out of the powers that be in Seattle will tax you to death )

*Breaking someone else's beer bottle is illegal.

*My personal favorite: You cannot use X- Ray machines to fit shoes.

There's also this one: "When two trains come to a crossing, neither shall go until the other has passed."

The one about painting polka- dots on the U.S. flag makes sense, but I'm pretty sure the one about lollipops is fake.
