Sometimes, you can see street view shots taken at night.
Here's a streetview in Melbourne (Not Australia) of a highway, including a railroad crossing.

I like this topic! Always thought it was interesting when a Street View taken at night shows up every now and then!

That's either dusk or dawn, not nighttime.
