Wow, talk about your prime example of why the bell should only ring on gate down movement.

And if that bell rang continuously throughout, I think I'd definitely grab my bat and silence it. Perhaps it was a mini, mini, mini bell with that rate.

Yes that is a perfect example of why the bell should ring only when the gates are lowering. That car stopped immediately when he realized the crossing was activating again. As fast as those trains were going, that would be a disaster if there was a collision.

I thought there were no grade crossings on the TGV.I saw on a TV show and the narrator said there are no grade crossing on the TGV line.

It was on the Discovery Channel or one of those learning channels I saw when they talked about the TGV years ago.
