Here's a rather cool set-up: a 1980s Safetran install from the SCL Family Lines system! The SCL had briefly used US&S/WABCO equipment shortly after merging with the L&N, but quickly switched to Safetran. However, these weren't too long-lived either as CSX was formed a few years later and used WCH equipment along their lines, so these installs can be hard to find these days, especially with most of the original equipment intact. However, as a result, Safetran mechanical bells can be found on former L&N lines, especially former L&N lines that are still owned by CSX, but are rather rare to see, along with many other CSX lines, except for the former Conrail and SCL lines, which is why CSX lines have a lot of them in Florida and the northeast.
