Very unusual vintage signal

Found this image on Wikipedia of this signal at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine.

I'd like to know more information on this signal, looks pretty interesting. The bell kind of looks like a normal modern(ish) mechanical bell too which is pretty interesting.

That ain't no modern bell, that's a Bryant Zinc/RRS bell.

Interesting; could be "STOP" lights.

Also, unrelated, but this is still serving on the nearby rail line.

That bell is a RRS. The lights just chase each other like a moving lantern. I went there this past summer.
