And, if you look past the more "normal" signal you can see a post with a small box on it near what looks to be a battery vault:

There is something very similar at the Pearl Street crossing in Trenton, TX... I never did figure out what this goofy thing is:

If anyone has any ideas, please speak up!
Kinda weird that I noticed this, because when I photographed that crossing in Trenton the first thing that I thought of was that everything about it... from the rusty old 8" US&S signals to even the way the buildings around it looked... was that it reminded me more of the Maine crossings on Mike's site than a typical Texas crossing.

DOT Number: 364833E (Street doesn't match up, but the FRA's GIS maps say it's the right crossing.
Railroad: Maine Coast (Now defunct), now Safe Handling Inc.
Daily Trains: 2
Mast Mounted Flashing Lights: 2
Bells: 1
It is a main line crossing.
No Accidents.
I agree with Elton. I hate signals that are installed on the wrong side of the road. They need to move the real signal over, put rear lights on the searchlight signal, and also, probably remove the searchlight head, and put the crossbuck where it belongs.

Unless the bell is hidden by the searchlight background, I don't know if there is a bell or not.
No mention of a searchlight on the inventory page.
