New crossing signal project

Hello everyone... I'm working on putting a crossing signal up at my house, have a few questions, hoping someone can help. Wasn't sure if I should post this in the Crossing Signals sub-form or the Lights-Bells-Gates sub-forum, please excuse if I got it wrong.

1. What are typical power requirements for reasonably late-model signal setups with lights, bell & gate? Should I be running 110VAC, 220VAC, 12VDC or something else?

2. The foundation I received with the signal equipment is only about 2 feet tall. I'm not sure if this was the right kind of foundation... some of the other foundations I've seen are more like 4 feet tall. This is a 13-14 foot tall aluminum pole, I want to make sure that everything will be secure out here in the winds that come sweeping down the plains.

3. Are there any folks out in the OKC metro that can assist with wiring & hookup? I'm more-or-less brand-new to this and don't want to flub it.

The flasher relay (EOR) operates on 9 to 12vdc. The signal bulbs say 9vdc on them in the signals that I have that retain the original bulbs. In a relay case, a 110ac charger keeps a bank of batteries charged, and those are used to power the detection and flasher relays, atleast in older applications. Newer ones are much more high tech. Someone else will have to answer in relation to the motor system used to operate the gate. I only have the basic crossing signal with 4 lamps on it and a bell, bell is also 9-12volts DC. I tend to not run my bell much as to keep the peace with the neighbors. Mike
