*originally recorded on 7-3-18*
Signal on the left: 4 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with General Signals LEDs, 1 pair of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a Modern Industries mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and General Signals gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with General Signals LEDs, 1 pair of WCH 12x24 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a Modern Industries mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and Progress Rail(?) LED gate lights.
Managed to just barely beat the BAYL back up to this crossing, which is the northernmost one along this part of the line before the yard. It also has some older equipment here, but only in the form of the two cantilever signals and the pair of Modern Industries mechanical bells! Both MI bells also sound rather healthy, and it's nice recording a crossing with two MI bells at it again. Interestingly enough, back in 2009, both signals had Safetran gate mechs, while the left-hand signal had MI 12x24 inch lights and the right-hand signal had Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights and what appears to have been a WCH mechanical bell. The crossing was upgraded to LED by 2011, with all of the old lights being replaced by the current WCH 12x24 inch lights, and the WCH mechanical bell on the right-hand signal was replaced by the Modern Industries bell on the same base! The gate masts here were replaced by 2015 with the current ones that have WCH gate mechs and the current WCH rear lights. The rear lights that were on the cantilevers were removed around this time.
