*originally recorded on 8-30-18*

Signal on the left: 1 pair of Modern Industries 8 inch lights and a WRRS mechanical bell.
Signal on the right: 1 WRRS 8 inch light and 1 Modern Industries 8 inch light.

Now here's another one of the weirdest crossings I've ever been to. This crossing is the next public crossing south of the Main Street crossing in Lynnville, and like that crossing, features a pair of cantilever signals from the L&N. These signals are technically WRRS cantilevers, with the one on the left technically being a rotatable WRRS cantilever (like the one at Bob Wallace Avenue here in Huntsville) while the one on the right is technically a non-rotatable WRRS cantilever. However, the reason why I'm saying "technically" is because, sometime after 2013, and for some unknown reason, the TSRR decided to chop off the cantilever arms! In fact, they're still laying on the ground next to the relay case at this crossing, and appear to be in good condition still, aside from lacking the lights that were originally mounted on them and where they obviously cut off the arms. I'm not even sure why the TSRR didn't take the time to upgrade/replace the mast lights here either, or at least install rear lights on them. I also have no idea what the overhead lights were, but based on the remaining equipment here, I'm willing to bet that they were originally WRRS 8 inch lights that were later replaced with MI 12x20 inch lights prior to their removal.
There's also two tracks here, due to this crossing being located on a passing siding that's now primarily used for car storage, but it appears that neither the TSRR nor any of the predecessor railroads ever bothered to put up any 2 Tracks signs on the signals.
The crossing also remains on for almost a minute after the train passes, for some reason. I'd also say it's a bit strange that this crossing got signals in the first place, since it's practically out in the middle of nowhere. Though there was likely a depot next to this crossing once upon a time, hence the name of the road.

Got a video of the other side of the crossing on 9-25-18:

While I was chasing the TSRR south, I went to this crossing to try and catch them, only to find a Sperry Rail truck that was slowly working its way down the line, examining the tracks for the railroad. As such, there's no train in this video, but it was nice getting to record this side of the crossing.

Also, according to one of the Patriot Rail people here, the reason why the cantilever arms were removed at this crossing is because "they kept malfunctioning". I'm not 100% certain what he meant by that, but I'm guessing that the wiring in the arm had rotted to the point where the overhead lights either weren't working properly anymore, or it was shorting out the signals (or at least the overhead lights) whenever they activated.
