Sounds like it was tuned down to a pretty low setting. GS bells can go that low in pitch.

THAT IS MESSED UP!!! But I'll definitely take that over all the GS Type 2's that are on the BNSF Chillicothe Sub, you can't go on that line without seeing a GS e bell.

Sounds kind of like Argentina's Autorol E-bell.
