*originally recorded on 10-28-18*

Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Safetran Fading LEDs, an ASC electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and Alstom LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Safetran Fading LEDs, an ASC electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and Alstom LED gate lights.

Like many SACRT Gold Line crossings in the Midtown area of Sacramento, it features a pair of Safetran signals installed in the 1980s, with the lights having been upgraded to LED and the bells having been replaced. However, like 34th Street & Stockton Boulevard, this appears to have had the original bells replaced earlier, but however, that means it has a pair of ASC e-bells at it! 30th Street is part of a 1-way pair that parallels Business I-80 (Capital City Freeway) through this part of the city. As such, I was able to record a one-way crossing finally! The 29th Street station is located just west of this crossing, underneath Bus. I-80. On the other side of the street from the station is a bit of street-running.
