Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with Electro-tech LEDs and a WCH mechanical bell.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights with Electro-tech LEDs and a WCH mechanical bell.

This crossing is another rather nice crossing, featuring a pair of old Walpar cantilevers with all Federal Signal lights and Electro-tech LEDs. I believe both signals would've had Federal Signal bells originally as well, but they were replaced with the current WCH bells sometime in the 1980s. However, both WCH bells still sound very healthy, which is quite good, so hopefully they last a long time! Just north of this crossing is a fixed approach (distant) signal, with I-80 (and the railroad overpass over I-80) just beyond it. On the other side of I-80 is 9th Street, so I pretty much ended my chase right about where I started. Interestingly enough, from this crossing south, all of the crossings feature all Electro-tech LEDs for the lights, despite all being cantilevered crossings (the gated crossing features Alstom LED gate lights though). There were also a couple of UP signal maintainers at this crossing, who had just finished up their test of the signals shortly before the train came through. The one who I got to briefly chat with was rather friendly.
