*originally recorded on 11-26-18*
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight "Low Wattage" LEDs, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight ball LEDs, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and 7 inch NEG gate lights.
Pedestrian signal: a Siemens gate mechanism and an NEG LED gate light.
This crossing was the main crossing in the Lebanon quiet zone that I had wanted to record, as it featured a rather new pedestrian signal at it, making it one of just three (IIRC) crossings on the NERR to feature a pedestrian signal. The majority of the rest of the equipment is from the early to mid-2000s, though the lights and gate arm on the far signal were replaced at one point for some reason (I'm guessing a construction vehicle for the nearby construction project clipped them?). The near signal is still pretty much unchanged however, aside from having the ENS sign replaced at one point. The signal even still retains a full set of incandescent 7 inch gate lights, which was quite cool to see! It appears that the NERR was upgrading these gate lights to LED at first, but based on how "well" the LEDs lit up the 7 inch lens, I guess they decided to swap over to standard 4 inch gate lights.
