This crossing was another high-priority crossing for me, as it's one of the last few crossings on the NERR mainline to feature any old L&N equipment at it. It appears that when the L&N originally installed their signals here, it was just the cantilever on the left and a gateless mast signal on the right, likely with all MI equipment and four pairs of 8 inch lights. However, likely in the late 1980s or 1990s, the NERR decided to upgrade the mast lights here to Modern Industries 12x24s, and install a 7 inch gate light on the cantilever, but leave everything else alone. Then, in the early to mid 2000s, when the NERR was upgrading their mainline for the Music City Star commuter service, they installed gates here. However, the far cantilever was left relatively alone, only having had the front lights removed when the gate mast was installed in front of the cantilever. This is also the second crossing east of the NERR's yard near downtown Nashville, TN.
