*originally recorded on 3-4-19*
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a Safetran mechanical bell.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a Safetran mechanical bell.
Side street signal: 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights.
This crossing is also another nice one. It has three Safetran cantilevers at it (with the rest of the equipment here being Safetran as well), making for a bit of a unique set-up, especially since the third cantilever has just one pair of lights to protect an unnamed side street that runs parallel to the tracks between this crossing and Fleming Street. It appears that these signals were installed by either the ICG, the Gulf & Mississippi Railroad, MiDsouth Rail, or the KCS, though I'm not sure which. I'm betting either the GMSR or MidSouth Rail though. The crossing also has a Safetran mechanical bell, which is rather nice. However, it's a bit unusual as well due to the fact that this crossing is gateless and the KCS locals tend to stop on this crossing, sometimes for extended periods of time, especially when heading north across the diamond. I'll probably see about coming back here sometime in the summer and getting the crossing then, when there's better lighting.
