Cameras at railroad crossings

I noticed there cameras at this crossing on that little shed, and I wondered why. Since I hadn't seen that at other crossings before.

Not entirely sure what they'd be used for, unless they've had issues with vandalism at that crossing.

That could be, although I just noticed the other crossing I posted they were working on, has the cameras as well.

I believe they were used to catch people violating the warning devices. Rock Hill Rd in Webster Groves, MO used to have those, but they got removed a couple years ago.
